• I started this site training for the 2006 Rock n' Roll Half-Marathon. Having never run more than 3 miles in my life, I did it as a personal challenge and to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. The experience was great, and maybe found out, I did not really "hate" running.
  
  
• Now I have done one marathon, what's next? Retirement?

• For two years in a row, I've hit up friends and family for sponsorships for this run (thanks to all!), and I wanted to give them a break this year! Instead, I was fortunate to have gotten an opportunity to do a focus group on September 5 that paid enough money to meet my minimum fund raising. So I am not pestering folks this year. But...
