You&#039;ve had some runs lately where you&#039;ve felt good. Running 18 miles is going to be hard. Don&#039;t be discouraged by the fact that it&#039;s hard. It&#039;s hard for everyone.
These long runs make the race easier. Remember how you felt on the good days, and that the work you&#039;ll do on Saturday is going to help you feel that way on the day of the race.
You had a good attitude about the people passing you on Thursday. You&#039;re not racing them. You&#039;re not even competing against yourself on training runs. Race day is 1/13/08. Until then, it doesn&#039;t count.
Hope to see you Saturday, but if I don&#039;t, good luck on the long run. You&#039;re doing great.</description>
